🔒 Is MyPetFriends secure?

Keeping payments secure is a priority at MyPetFriends. We use a regulated third-party escrow provider to ensure funds are handled independently, stored securely, and processed within South African financial regulations.

All payments on MyPetFriends are processed through TradeSafe, an authorised third-party payment provider in South Africa.

TradeSafe is a digital escrow service. This means:

Funds are held in a secure, audited trust account with Standard Bank
MyPetFriends does not hold your money directly
We act only as an agent of TradeSafe for payment facilitation

TradeSafe operates in compliance with South African financial regulations, including the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA).

When you enter payment or banking details on MyPetFriends, those details are securely handled and stored by TradeSafe – not on MyPetFriends’ servers.

This structure ensures that:

Payments are processed securely
Funds are protected
Financial activity happens within a regulated framework
