🐕 What if my sitter cancels or doesn't show up?

We know plans don't always go perfectly – especially when real people are involved. Here's what to expect if a sitter cancels or doesn't arrive as planned.

If a sitter needs to cancel

Sitters are expected to let pet owners know as early as possible if they’re unable to go ahead with a booking.

If a sitter cancels:

  • Any payment for the cancelled service will be refunded
  • You’re free to reach out to another sitter on the platform
  • If you need help or something feels off, you can contact us

If a sitter doesn’t show up

If your sitter doesn’t arrive or stops responding:

  • Try contacting them directly through the platform
  • If there’s no response, reach out to MyPetFriends

In these cases:

  • Any payment for that service will be refunded
  • We’ll follow up with the sitter and take action where needed
