🐕 What if communication breaks down or something feels unsafe?

Your comfort and your pet's wellbeing matter. If something doesn't feel right during a booking, here's what to do.

Start with direct communication (if it feels safe)

If communication slows down or expectations aren’t being met, we encourage respectful, direct communication with the other party where it feels safe to do so. Many issues can be resolved quickly with a conversation.

Trust your instincts

If something feels unsafe, uncomfortable, or simply off – you don’t need to explain or justify it. Your safety (and your pet’s) comes first.

This can include:

  • Communication stopping completely
  • Messages that feel inappropriate or uncomfortable
  • Boundaries not being respected
  • Behaviour that raises safety concerns
  • Anything that doesn’t feel right

  • We’ll read and respond personally
  • We may follow up with the other party
  • We’ll step in if something feels unsafe or clearly inappropriate
